Karena Bierman JD is the Senior Planned Giving Officer at The Rotary Foundation. She specializes in Charitable Remainder Trusts, Split Interest Agreements, donor advised funds, contracts, endowed gift agreements, real estate transfers, tax-efficient charitable giving through wills, trusts and other financial resources.
Prior to joining the staff at Rotary she practiced at Wildman Harrold Allen & Dixon, LLP. She also served as the Chief of Staff at the Wisconsin State Legislature.
Karena received her BA in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her JD in International Studies from Loyola University New Orleans Scholl of Law.
Karena’s knowledge of The Rotary Foundation is vast. She is a valuable resource at your foundation. Karena is the President-elect at The Evanston Lighthouse Rotary Club. She is a Paul Harris Fellow.
